A Ralph Lauren Birthday Present

As my birthday present for dad, I brought him to his favorite Ralph Lauren store after treating him for lunch. It was his 55th birthday and he didn’t plan on celebrating at all. I picked him from his office just in time for his lunch break and insisted for him to come with me. Though hesitant, he didn’t have any choice at all. We dined in a fancy restaurant and headed to the nearest Ralph Lauren store right away. I told him to select one good item as my birthday present for him. As expected, he refused but again, due to my insistence, he obeyed.

He chose the black and classic style Ralph Lauren polo shirt that looked very elegant and presentable. Knowing that he’s an avid collector of this brand made me quite certain he’d love my idea of bringing him there. I wanted to add one more item to the set of good garments he has in his closet. Dad looked good as he fitted the new shirt. I was like his mother waiting from afar while he was choosing from among the wonderful Ralph Lauren clothing. After a few minutes, he presented to me the black shirt and as I expected, he once again chose a simple yet exquisite item from the store. I have always admired dad’s good choice of clothes.

Buying a Hammock for the Business

My family is starting a holiday resort business, which we are busy looking for items such as hammock, outdoor furniture, fabric for the curtains, and many more. My father bought the small resort from a man who is leaving the country to be with his wife. It was not running very well because I do not think he cared so much about the resort. After several discussions over the resort, we decided to buy it and revamp the entire place. My parents loved the idea because it would be perfect for vacationers to rest and relax on the beach. The hammock area has a perfect view of the sunset and I believe the area would be filled with plenty of people. A view of the sunset would not be complete without a glass of pina colada.

Getting Ready for Our Trip to California

We are getting ready for our trip to California. We were both born and raised there but moved away in 2005. We haven’t been to visit since 2007 so this trip is very important to us. We still need to buy a few things. We need to find a good dog carrier for our dog so he can come with us. We also need to buy some fun activities and games for the kids. They each have their own DVD players too. We just want to make sure they don’t get bored on the plane ride. Bored kids don’t make very good travelers. The flight is only about four hours but you have to add in all the time waiting for the flight and to get our bags. I am very excited about seeing our family in California. It is going to be wonderful to spend time with them again.
